Who are we?
We're just a bunch of NSUT students who started out like everyone else — wide-eyed, slightly terrified, and constantly typing "bhai yeh kaha hota hai?" into group chats at 2 AM.
We were hyped about college life... until we actually had to navigate it.
Lecture halls were a maze. Tutorials made zero sense. Every senior had a different version of what happens in labs. Notes? Scattered across ten random Google Drives. Societies? A mysterious multiverse. Campus map? Might as well have been a treasure hunt. And those late-night brainwaves? Often discarded — not for lack of passion, but because we couldn't find teammates to build with.
Basically, being a fresher felt like a full-blown survival game.
So in 2025, somewhere between missed lectures, chai breaks, and chaotic group chats, a few slightly sleep-deprived but deeply motivated students decided:
"Let's just build what we wish we had in first year."
What started as a simple idea (and a lot of overthinking) turned into something bigger — NSUT Orbit — a one-stop platform to help freshers not just survive, but thrive.
It's not just a tool. It's your digital campus buddy — bringing together everything from maps and study resources to lab info, society guides, events, and even Launchpad — a space to find like-minded folks who actually want to brainstorm, build, and vibe with your vision.

Our Mission
Let's be honest: college is chaotic. From accidently ending up in the wrong block to googling "how to survive engineering without a mental breakdown?", college hits like a whirlwind. That's where we come in. At Orbit, our mission is to make sure that you don't have to suffer like we did. We are here to simplify the mess, connect the dots, and be the all-in-one guide we wish we had when we first stepped onto campus.
